Betty   Betty Adams

Betty Adams merged Adams Wealth Opportunities LLC , her business of 27 years, with Financial Architects in 2008. Read More

Known in the Oshkosh community as a financial advisor, Certified Financial Planner, and a bank trust officer, her focus has been on the client’s entire financial situation, sometimes called the macro financial picture, designing strategies that will maximize the efficiency of assets already in place, as well as the best use of the earned dollars. Building wealth can be accomplished without having to take more risk or reduce your lifestyle, if you use your dollars efficiently.

Accumulating wealth efficiently means close contact with clients as they make various kinds of financial decisions during any one year. Therefore, clients have grown accustomed to annual reviews and occasional phone calls to “just keep in touch”, as well as discussing what is the smartest strategy to handle a particular situation. Who would know more about their financial life than Betty, because of the macro picture approach. Maybe that is why clients will generally stay with Betty for a long time, having a close relationship as well as receiving cutting edge information and strategy development.

Professional Designations and Background
Using her education as a CFP, 21 years of study in the macro-economic process through Leap Systems, Inc , and a graduate of American Banking Association Trust School of Northwestern University, she is continuously updating the necessary knowledge and skills it takes to help clients stay with the ever changing economic and financial times. Starting her career in the trust department of First Wisconsin Trust Co as a trust officer provided a solid basis of experience in estate planning, wills, trusts, and investments. Banks and trust companies are generally known for their conservative approach and attention to legalities which has set a standard for Betty in dealing with clients’ records, accounts, investments and insurance products. Betty holds a life and health insurance license, a Series 65 license as an Investment Advisor, and the FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses for registered representatives. She holds a bachelors degree from Milton College.

Professional and Community Involvement
Betty is a member of NAIFA – National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Tempo International, past director of the International Association of Financial Planning, and past president of the National Association for Women in Management.
